Agam POV
Some very interesting thing Panditji told me today.
He told me about the deaths 5 years ago and before my mother's death. We didn't even know about these deaths.
My father was ill during first incident but if he had known about this incident then he wouldn't have ignored it.
The missing pieces during my father's reign and then after Maa-sa's death are opening up like a puzzle.
They are making me question my own father. Is he really that honest? Why was he out saying hunting but didn't even go there?
I don't want to doubt on my father. But I have learned the hard way that betrayal comes from you closest.
That's why I haven't told him about my recent discoveries.
I am thinking all about this when I enter my room not looking inside first.
After closing the door when I take a glance at the bed while moving my feet got stuck seeing Mohini in such a sensual position.
Heat flares in my body, blood rushes south and I can feel my self getting hard. What the hell? I haven't had this type of reaction in a while.
I have been sexually active but that first time thrill had already vanished.
I recover and say lazily,
'Once it happens, it's a coincidence, the second time it happens, it's fate, but if it happens again and again, it's a well thought out plan.'
I remove my ornaments throwing it on the floor while moving towards her and saying,
'Twice in a day, so tell me Mohini, should we call this luck or a well thought plan.'
Her eyes widen when I inch closer to her and breathing becomes shallow.
She tries to sit up but I throw my kurta away and I am on her in blink of an eye. I capture her by the back of neck and slowly made her lie down.
I straddle her lying body. Her face is flushed and her pulse is fluttering in her neck against my fingers. I speak huskily against her lips,
'Toh aap ne kamre mein aane ki pratiksha ki apna chunav batane ke liye, ki aapko hume khane ki bhook adhik hai.'
'So you waited to come into the room to tell me your choice, that you are more hungry to eat me.'
I tilt my face in her neck, breathing heavily which sends shiver in her body.
My lower body brushes against her body which makes me even harder if this continues I will bust in my lower. I say against her neck,
'Stop me Mohini or I will not be held responsible for my actions.'
Her hands come up to my chest and starts scratching to get me closer, I smile at her wildness.
I take both of her holding them by my one hand above her head, I wound another hand around her waist.
I start to suck harshly on her neck, then bite, lick, again suck. I left my marks from her neck to the top swell of her breast, sinking my teeth onto the soft, swelled flesh.
She arches her back at the sensations, she tries to free her hand to touch me, her mouth is open in silent cry and eyes closed because of pleasurable sensations.
I bring her hands forward and make her sit up with myself by her hands.
I bring her closer to me, practically sitting her on my lap. I lick from her neck to her earlobe, bite on them harshly.
She tries to move her face away but I held her tightly. I speak against her ear,
'Aapne hume ukasaya, ghar se dur anjani jagah mein.'
'You provoked me, away from home in an unknown place.'
I bite her like I am punishing her then continued on,
'Aapne hume ukasaya, ye jante hue ki bhi hum kuch bhi kar sakte hai.'
'You provoked me, knowing that I can do anything.'
I suck on her neck, grazing my teeth, then continued,
'Aapne hume ukasaya, ye jante hue ki aap bol nahi sakti.'
'You provoked me, knowing that you cannot speak.'
Listening this she inches back to look me in the eye and frowns at my questioning. She is drowning in pleasure.
I kiss the corner of her lips seeing desire clouding her eyes and I speak against her lips,
'Toh hum aapke sath kabhi bhi, kahi bhi, kuch bhi kar sate hai, aur kisi ko pata bhi nahi chalega.'
'You know you can't speak, so I can do anything to you anytime, anywhere, and no one will even know.'
At that moment I bit her lower lip pulling it in my mouth and starts sucking all the while holding her hands.
I release her lower lip with a pop. We both look at each other with desire and charged intensity crackles between us.
She looks dishelved with her pallu down, hair open, lusty eyes and flushed face.
Our moment get interrupted with a knock and someone speaks from the door,
'Hume kshama kar dijiyega aapko pareshaan karne ke liye Bai-sa, Yuvraj, parantu humne aapke kamre mein paani ka matka nahi rakha hai.'
'Forgive me for disturbing you, Bai-sa, Prince, but we have not kept a water pot in your room.'
Her calling me Yuvraj throws bucket of cold water.
Here I am seducing my enemy's daughter and getting sucked in her world. I can't have anyone even though they are innocent.
Never again will I get close to smeone and especially not with my enemy's daughter.
I let her up and see concern in her eyes on my closed off face and see a little bit of hurt.
She goes infront of mirror, tucks her pallu in place, then cover heself with shawl to hide the bite marks.
Seeing her marked up by me sends a possessive satisfaction in my body.
God, I am turning to animal for her.
It hasn't been that long that she has been with us but I am already questioning that maybe she is innocent, maybe I should give a chance to this marriage.
But letting her enter my heart will open many doors to hurt me and one door terrifies me very much because that door includes hurting her.
She opens the door takes the pot of water, closes the door and keep it near the window.
Suddenly the atmosphere becomes heavy and awkward.
So I tease her,
'I don't see any couch here so it looks like I will be sleeping with you on the bed, do you have any problem with that?'
She shakes her head, takes her book and paper keeping it nicely on the table.
I mutter loud enough for her to hear,
'Ha, Aapko thodi na koi samsya hogi, samsya toh humare liye hai.'
'Yes, you wouldn't have any problem, the problem is for me.'
She whips her head to me, frowning, and moves her head in an asking gesture. I try to hide my smile because she fell into my trap. I speak with a serious tone and expression,
'Matlab ki, aapko koi dikkat thodi naa hogi, dikkat toh hume hogi, kyunki agar aapko thand lagegi ya phir jagah kam padegi toh, aap toh siddhe hum par hi chadh jaengi, bandar ke tarah.'
'Meaning that, you won't have any problems, I will only have problems, because if you are feeling cold or if you have less space, you will just climb up on me, like a monkey.'
Her mouth opens, then twists in a sarcastic smile, nodding her head repeatedly at my audacity.
I thought she would flush, but she seems to be laughing at my audacity.
So I clarify,
'I mean, I know the atmosphere gets cold sometimes, and I am just so hot and irresistible that you just can't help yourself and try to climb on me like my monkey in heat.'
I make a monkey climbing gesture with my hand while saying that.
She nods her head, goes to the table, writes something on the paper, then hands me the paper.
I warily take it and read it,
So you are hot and irresistible, huh?
I say,
'I mean, yes..'
The moment I look up from the paper, she snatches it and throws a glass of water on my face.
Then she moves to write something on the paper while I wipe my face off while silently fuming at her audacity.
I turn to her, and she hands me the paper and indicates with her eyes to read it. I glare at her, but look at the paper and read it,
Now, you are cold and resistable, so don't worry I won't climb on you like a monkey.
I look up to see that she has built pillow bridge in the middle of bed, she has folded her arms, glaring at me with cute frown, and adorable pout.
My anger melts away at her innocent, adorable face.
I nonchalantly give back her paper while making sure to rub my thumb on her wrist. She sucks in breath at the contact then I walk away to my side and lay down while saying,
'Fine, if you think I am cold and irresistible now, but you are mistaken because your water has just spread the fire more and made me look even hotter and more irresistible.'
She just huffs then lie down with her back facing to me. Now, I will just lay down and sleep because the moment she falls asleep she will come and climb up on me.
Morning light falls on my face, I feel a light weight on my body. I open my eyes to see pillows of bridge hapzhardly thrown aside and Mohini practically lying on my body.
I smile then feel her waking up so I tightly close my eyes wanting to see her reaction. I see with side eye, a horrified expression on her face.
Then she does something which makes me want to kiss that cute face. She slowly extricates herself from me so she doesn't wake me up.
She gather the pillows and again built the bridge, covers me, then she folds her hand and looks at her display with victorious smile.
She looks proud of herself, and I am really holding myself from laughing at her adorable work.
She leaves, then I also sit up and smile at her innocent mischief.
I shake my head, then go and take a bath. I enter the temple to find Mohini wearing whole cover blouse upto her neck with her translator helping Panditji.
It looks like I did leave those marks really visible for her to wear such a covered blouse in this heat.
We both did aarti, took blessings, then Mohini went from there to make preparations for leaving.
I talk to Panditji some more time to gather as much information as I can.
I hear a scream suddenly, we both look at each other and follow the scream to my room to find Swati lowered on the floor with Mohini lying on the floor unconscious.
Did it happen so fast? I haven't even prepared for it. My grandfather said that it will--
Swati interrupts my thought while saying,
'They attacked us from back. She was standing on the stool when an arrow came and disbalanced her, and a vase shattered on her head, making her unconscious.'
I crouch down and, with a shaky voice, ask,
'Is there any bleeding?'
She shakes her head. I lift her up in my arms and lay her down on the bed, there is a small cut on her forearm.
I ask for ointment and white clean cloth to wrap it up. I clean her cut, put oinment then wrap cloth around it.
I sprinkle water on her face after some time, she slowly opens her eyes and then focuses on me. I ask her,
'Aap thik toh hai?'
'Are you okay?'
She nods her head. I speak,
'We will postpone the journey, I don't think you are ready for this long journey with that bump on her head.'
A lady brings hot turmeric paste, which I rub on her bump. She winces but stays still.
She signs something at Swati, then Swati tells me,
'Bai-sa just wants to go home and reach the palace today only, like earlier planned.'
I go to speak about something, but I stop seeing her pleading expression.
I sigh, then tell them to continue with preparations. I walk outside to find some answers. My soldiers come and tell,
'Yuvraj, we tried to follow them where Bai-sa had seen them, but couldn't find them. They have already taken shelter in the forest.'
I don't like this feeling of helplessness, of not punishing someone for hurting her. A rage unlike anything hits me with full force.
I fist my hands tightly. One thing this incident cleared for me is that I can't allow her to get close to me, even though it hurts her, because she will be alive because of my decision.
Nobody intercepts me as I move toward the caravan, and I know I am looking like a raging bull.
After preparations are done, we set out for the journey. After long day of journey we reached Suryagarh palace when sun has set completely and darkness spread completely.
We enter, Bua-sa is standing with Bapu-sa, Naina, and Viraj bickering like kids, and Ekansh shaking his head at both of them, Avantika is missing.
I help Mohini down from the palki, then enter the palace, taking blessings of Bua-sa and Bapu-sa.
Bapu-sa asks her,
'What is this? How did it happen?'
She signs, which Swati translates, hiding her displeasure,
'Bai-sa had an accident, that's all, nothing to worry about. She will take care of it.'
Bapu-sa looks at me with concern, but I just nod my head to reassure him.
Naina whisks her away while I motion for Viraj and Ekansh to follow me.
We enter the library and ask Viraj,
'Why are you always bickering with Naina? You both are adults now, and you are Prince especially.'
He just clenches his jaw. I shake my head, then fill them on the news about deaths in our empire and an unpleasant accident today.
Viraj hands me a letter saying,
'This has come from Malwa today. This has been dispatched from Malwa on the eighth day of your journey from Malwa to Suryagarh.'
I take it and ask,
'Did you read it?'
He shakes his head.
I open the letter and read it aloud,
Namaskar Swikarva Jaawai Ji,
Usse sirf ye pata tha ki hum apni beti ke liye aapka haath maang rahe hai, aur aapko uske goonge hone ki baat pata hai.
Waha jane ke baad uski saari asha aur sapne toot gaye honge. Par humne jo bhi kiya apni beti ke liye kiya, unka kahi rishta nahi hor raha tha jisse wo bahut pareshan rehti thi isliye aapke sath unke bhi gunehgaar bane ke liye taiyaar ho gaye hum.
Aapke saath chhal karne ke pichhe karan yahi hai ki aapke Dada-sa ke usool bahut uche hai. Ho sake toh hume kshama kar dijiyega, aur ho sake toh Mohini ko dhyan mein rakhkar hume dand dijiyega. Humari beti nirdosh hai. Usse dand nahi, khayal rakhne ki avashyakta hai.
Ye Malwa ke Raja ka nahi balki ek pita ka anurodh hai.
Aapke Sasre,
Pankaj Rao.

Greetings Son-in-law,
I know that by the time this letter reaches you, you will know about my plan. But I want to assure you of one thing, this is not an enemy's move, but a father's move to see his daughter happy.
The punishment of our feud shall not be given to my daughter, she did not know anything about it. All she knew was that I was going to ask for your hand for my daughter, and that you already knew about her muteness.
After going there her hopes and dreams would have been shattered. But whatever I did was for my daughter, she was not getting married anywhere which caused her to stress so much, so I became ready to be guilty of her and you.
The reason behind deceiving you is that your grandfather's principles are very wise. If you can, then please forgive me, and if you do punish us then deem punishment by keeping Mohini in your mind. My daughter needs no punishment but rather for someone to take care of her.
This is not the request of the King of Malwa but of a father.
Your father-in-law,
Pankaj Rao.

I fold the letter, keeping it away, then say passively,
'He is lying.'
Ekansh frowns and asks,
'What?'
I reply with an expressionless face,
'Agar Mohini ko laga ki rishta unke liye pakka kiya ja raha hai, wo bhi unki sacchai jankar toh phir wo uss din chup kyun rahi? Kyun humse aankhein milane ke baad bhi unhone kuch nahi kiya?'
'If Mohini felt that the relationship was being arranged for her, after knowing her truth, then why was she silent all day? Why didn't she make a move even after meeting me eye-to-eye?'
Viraj says deep in thought,
'Which means the possibility of either two things- either Mohini didn't know about the marriage till you were there, or she knew about her father's trick and helped him to execute it.'
I agree with him and say,
'This means I can't trust her and not let her in close more than she is already, until I prove that she is innocent.'
Ekansh and Viraj both frown at me. I look at them and say,
'What?'
Ekansh speaks up,
'You are awfully hung up on finding reasons to push her away rather than finding Pankaj Rao's intention behind this marriage.'
My chest tightens painfully at his suggestion, but I shake it away, saying,
'We have to send a letter to him saying we don't accept his apology, and be prepared for war, and also I. Don't. Give. A. Fuck. About. Mohini.'
I punctuate each word so they understand that I don't care about her. Then deliver my last line while leaving,
'And if she is found out to be guilty, she will also be involved in this war.'
I walk out when Ekansh speaks,
'Yeah, yeah, walkout bastard, we are also princes of our kingdoms, but you treat us like we are your slaves, we did your deed, now we are leaving for our home, thought to let you know.'
I didn't turn, but gestured with my hand to leave.
I enter my room to find Mohini already sleeping on her side and a letter on the bed. It looks like it is 'letters day'. I open it up and read,
You don't have to lie on the couch. I have no problem to share bed with you. And I will try hard not to climb on you like monkey.
That pulls a smile out of me. I change into my pajamas only and lie down on the bed. The exhaustion takes over.
For the next 11 days we behave normally, I will spend my whole time in library and when I enter my room late, she has already fallen asleep.
I know she has noticed how much of a distance has been created between us.
Right now, I am waiting for another letter from the sender who had sent the first letter which I had received the day after my arrival to Suryagarh from Kuldevta mandir.
I haven't told about it to anyone. Suddenly, Viraj and Ekansh enter with somber faces.
I ask them,
'What happened?'
Just as they take a seat, an attendee comes running into my room saying,
'Yuvraj, the art room is on fire and Bai-sa is trapped inside.'
Oh no, my mother's paintings. I rush off to the art room with Viraj and Ekansh following me.
